Burgatory: Burgatory is a friendly little joint that makes some of the best burgers and shakes you've ever had. Whether you're digging into one of their custom burgers or slurping one of their ridiculously thick shakes, get ready for a dining experience that's pretty close to heaven.

Federal Galley: This is a bit of a hike from Acrisure Stadium, but it's one of my favorite places to eat in the North Shore, especially before a Steelers night game. This food hall offers a large variety of food and drinks sure to satisfy all palettes in your party. I cannot recommend Given to Fly enough, and be sure to check back throughout the season for their updated rotating draft life.

Riverlife's Shore Thing: New in 2025, you'll want to visit this barge-turned-restaurant-and-bar before the weather gets too frigid. Enjoy scenic views, delectable bites, and mouthwatering drinks on one of Pittsburgh's iconic rivers before (or after) heading to Acrisure Stadium.

Lindos Restaurant: A quaint diner in Pittsburgh's North Side that serves breakfast almost as good as Grandma's.

Primanti Brothers Market Square: Home of the almost famous sandwich. Born in 1933 from a small wooden lunch stand in the Strip District to today with over 20 locations in Pittsburgh and South Florida, Primanti Bros. is a Pittsburgh tradition. These over-stuffed sandwiches with your choice of grilled meat topped with fresh hand-cut french fries, sweet and sour crunchy coleslaw, two slices of tomato all between two fresh slices of Italian bread have become world famous!

Steelers Hall of Honor Museum: Located in Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers Hall of Honor Museum is dedicated to promoting, preserving and celebrating Steelers football. The museum is home to nearly 50 inductees and over 10,000 square feet of Steelers history, and provides opportunities for fans to learn more about the franchise, view rare artifacts preserved by the team and relive the biggest moments and people in Steelers history.

The Cathedral of Learning and Pitt's Nationality Rooms: Thirty-one Nationality and Heritage Rooms depict Pittsburgh's ethnic heritages - European, Asian, Middle Eastern and African - through authentic examples of architecture and décor. Guided tours are offered at appointed times throughout the week, and gifts and publications are available for purchase at the Nationality Room’s Visitor Center in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood, home to the University of Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh's Sports Heritage Trail: Pittsburgh is rich in history, and its sports history is one of its proudest points.

National Aviary: The nation's bird zoo is home to more than 500 birds and other animals from around the world, many of them threatened or endangered in the wild. Large walk-through habitats allow for close interactions between visitors and birds. Visitors can watch flamingos frolic, witness penguins waddle and swim, and "hang out" with a sloth.

Kayak Pittsburgh: Experience Pittsburgh from the water! Kayak Pittsburgh offers seasonal kayak rentals, guided trips, and group experiences. These adventures are both family-friendly and pet-friendly.

PARK

There are plenty of parking options around Acrisure Stadium, but keep in mind that most of the lots directly next to the stadium might be sold out in advance. If you're looking to avoid the hassle, try these alternatives:

Park Downtown and walk across the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Acrisure Stadium, or park in the North Side and walk to the stadium. There are also bike stands around the area if you prefer biking.
Park Downtown and take Pittsburgh Regional Transit's FREE T light rail system. You can also take the bus for a small fee.
Park anywhere along the T route and pay a small fee to get to the stadium and back to your car (at last check, it was under $5 for a round trip).
