Final Fridays on Rose Way

Enjoy one of the newest creative spaces in Pittsburgh at Final Fridays on Rose Way with The Warhol. Grab a drink and bask in the rainbow alleyway under the glowing lights, and pick up a ticket for The Warhol half off starting at 5 p.m. This free event takes place the final Friday of June-Oct. from 5-10 p.m.

Cinema in the Park

Pittsburgh parks turn into outdoor movie theatres all summer long thanks to the Dollar Bank Cinema in the Park season. Bring your blanket and a chair to these free showings at dusk across the city. There's something for all types of moviegoers, so you can bring the family to DC League of Super-Pets at Schenley Park, your friends to Top Gun: Maverick in Ormsby Park and the cinephile in your life to Cool Hand Luke at Flagstaff Hill.

Unblurred: First Fridays 

Come out to Penn Ave the first Friday of the month for #Unblurred: First Fridays on Penn between the 4800 and 5500 blocks in the Bloomfield/Garfield neighborhoods. This free arts and entertainment crawl goes from 3-10 p.m. and is a great chance to meet with artists and local business owners as you enjoy painting, sculpture, dance, photography, music and spoken word performances.

Jam on Walnut

Rock out to one of the best block parties of the summer with Jam on Walnut, an outdoor concert series that goes late into the night in Shadyside. Enjoy free live music, grab a beer and shop local businesses, with all proceeds going to help the Animal Friends Charity. Jams are scheduled for June 17, July 15 and Aug. 19 for the remainder of 2023.

Music on the Lawn

The South Side Works is rocking every Friday from July through September for Music on the Lawn! Enjoy free music from 6-10 p.m. along with local food vendors and craft breweries giving you plenty of reasons to start your weekend on the North Lot.

Pittsburgh Night Market

Something about shopping at night just hits different. Come to Market Square from 5-10 p.m. on select Fridays or Saturdays for Pittsburgh Night Market, a pop-up shopping market and festival featuring Pittsburgh vendors showcasing their clothing, food, pet supplies, artwork, jewelry and more. Live entertainment will also be available on certain evenings.

Moonlight Cruise Gateway Clipper

All aboard the Gateway Clipper Friday evenings through October for the Moonlight Dance Cruise & Tour, a late-night exploration of the city for night owls. Your evening comes with the best views of the city via grand riverboat along with a full-service bar, free Midnight Buffet and dance floor until the sun comes up.

Night Nation Run

Looking for something a little more active? Go on a Night Nation Run, billed as the world's first running music festival! The course starts and finishes at Stage AE (2023 date TBD) taking runners along the waterfront with spectacular views of the city and a course full of live DJs, bubble zones and black light areas. The party continues after you cross the finish line with a main stage concert and after party.
