Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is only 25 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh and supports more than 171 flights per day to over 50 nonstop destinations. A world-class facility, the airport has been recognized for meeting travelers' needs. It has been ranked number one by Condé Nast Traveler for food, shops, comfort, amenities and ambience. In addition, OAG Worldwide and market research leader J.D. Power and Associates have named it among the top airports in customer satisfaction surveys.
A model for other airports around the world, the terminal was designed to ease pedestrian traffic to the gates. With the help of a high-speed transport, travelers need only take a few steps to cross more than a half mile from the landside to airside terminals. In the airside terminal, moving walkways help passengers reach their gates quickly and easily.
Pittsburgh International Airport is served by 13 passenger carriers:
Pittsburgh International Airport was the first in the country to offer free, high-speed wireless internet service throughout all four airside concourses - A, B, C and D - and the Center Core of its AirMall, a shopping and dining experience like no other airport in the country. Other firsts? Kidsport, the first airport-based play area for children; a Mother's Nursing Lounge; and more innovations to come.
