Whiskey Rebels at Braddock's Field
Join us at the BBHC, located on a historic part of Braddock’s Field, for a FREE event celebrating the 232nd anniversary of the Whiskey Rebellion!
On August 1, 1794, approximately 7,000 rebels gathered at Braddock’s Field to plan an 8-mile trek to Pittsburgh to fight the federal government over the Whiskey Tax of 1791. Enjoy a summer evening of whiskey tastings featuring West Overton Distilling, Liberty Pole Spirits, and more. Historical interpreters, live music, and complimentary museum admission to commemorate the historic gathering bring Braddock’s Field to life.
Food and beverages are available for purchase from area food trucks. Event held rain or shine!
This event is free to attend. Donations are kindly welcome and help support the BBHC’s educational programming.
