Meat and Potatoes

This famous Pittsburgh restaurant has a special Valentine's day menu that includes sweet Jesus oysters, filet and foie gras, and white chocolate cake. The ambiance inside of Meat and Potatoes is upscale-industrial with steel and marble details and dim, romantic lighting. Head to the restaurant early to indulge in a delicious craft cocktail.

If your real Valentine is the city, then the best view for your romantic dinner is Altius. Nestled on Mount Washington, Altius has won awards for its dishes and views of the golden triangle. For Valentine's Day, Altius will be serving the full dinner menu. The ambiance is what makes this restaurant special. Views of the city coupled with candlelight dining and an amazing wine list make for an evening to remember.

Molinaro Ristorante

As a new restaurant in Market Square, Molinaro has classic Italian dishes and a great atmosphere. For Valentine's Day, the chef is preparing a 4-course dinner including a complimentary champagne toast for $49 per person. Dinner will start with a burrata appetizer and tortelli pasta before choosing between a branzino filet & lobster tail or beef tenderloin filet. Complete your dinner with a dark chocolate raspberry mousse. The regular full menu will also be available for purchase.


Eliza is offering a three course prefix menu designed by executive chef Thomas Lonardo. Dinner for two starts at $85, however you can add a night's stay at Hotel Indigo/Technology Park for a total of $195. Dinner includes a salad with nori fried oysters, sea scallops and udon noodles, and Baked Alaska with Millie's ice cream for dessert. There is a vegetarian option available also!

Union Standard

Chef Derek Stevens has prepared a wonderful a la carte menu. When you make a reservation, request flowers and 4121MAIN will have them on your table upon arrival. You will also receive a promo code for a $79 night at The Distrikt Hotel when you book your reservation. Union Standard is known for fresh and local foods and the vibe is upscale luxury in an intimate and relaxed setting.
