Over the past few days, the world witnessed the grit and passion that define our city. We didn’t just host the 2026 NFL Draft; we forged a historic milestone together. From the first pick to the final celebration, the energy of our community was the fuel that made this event a resounding success.

We are proud to announce that, thanks to you, this was the largest Draft in history. Our streets welcomed a record breaking 805,000 fans, proving once and for all that there is no stage quite like Pittsburgh.

And we're not done yet!

The NFL Draft is the perfect starting point for you to forge your next trip to Pittsburgh.

A spark burned into a blaze when the Pittsburgh Penguins flipped the script and made the playoffs for the first time since 2022, and the Battle of Pennsylvania is happening right in our backyard for round one. Cheer on the Pens against the Philadelphia Flyers at PPG Paints Arena and at watch parties throughout the city, like at Tom's Watch Bar and Crafthouse Stage & Grill. On the other side of the river, the Pittsburgh Pirates season is in full swing at PNC Park. Catch a game with one of the best views in Major League Baseball as your backdrop. And if you'd like to participate in a sport yourself, the Pittsburgh Marathon kicks off the weekend after the Draft. It's not too late to sign up to run one of several races, or to make a sign to cheer on this year's runners.
