Star Wars: A New Hope
A 50th-anniversary screening brings the original Star Wars adventure to the arena with its score performed live. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra plays John Williams’ Oscar-winning music in sync with the film projected in high definition, conducted by Jacob Joyce. The orchestra will perform beneath the arena’s main scoreboard, while a 360-degree display carries the film across the venue. From the opening fanfare to the final battle, this concert pairs a landmark space-fantasy film with the power of a full symphony.
