Lawrenceville Moves: Open Up's Winter Ball for All

Your moves. Your people. One joyful night.

Join us for Lawrenceville Moves: Open Up’s Winter Ball for All, a winter dance party for anyone and everyone!

We’re taking the joy and energy of Open Up’s monthly dance parties and inviting the whole community to join in. Think gymnasium high school dance vibes, in the best possible way, with Band Together, snacks, punch, and a dance floor where you can show up exactly as you are.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

DJ Mark from Band Together Pittsburgh! Bringing the beats and a shared commitment to belonging, Band Together creates opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to build confidence and connection through music. We’re thrilled to have them DJ’ing our celebration!

Snacks and punch for that classic school dance nostalgia.

A one-song dance competition—bring your signature move and get ready for your moment!

Special guests, familiar faces, and new friends to celebrate the end of the year together.

Dress up, add a little sparkle, or come in your favorite comfortable clothes. Come with friends, bring your family, or arrive solo—we’d love to welcome you.

All ages. All abilities. All dance styles. Whether you’re ready to dance every song or prefer to soak up the music and community, you belong here. No dance experience required, and the competition is entirely optional.

This celebration is also a fundraiser for Open Up, helping expand access to inclusive movement, mindfulness, and community connection. If payment is a barrier, come anyway, you belong here.

Grab your tickets, invite someone who could use a joyful night out, and meet us on the dance floor!
