Ki Ki B. Jones’ Charm School and Man Camp in the Steel City

Free one-day program will provide workshops addressing life skills, personal development and challenges facing today’s youth

Charm School and Man Camp in the Steel City will return on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Faros Allegheny Center on Pittsburgh’s North Side.

Sponsored by S&T Bank, the free program welcomes youth ages 10–17, with Charm School designed for girls and Man Camp designed for boys. Parents and guardians are also encouraged to attend and participate.

Local professionals and community leaders will facilitate interactive workshops covering law and order, financial literacy, mental health, health and fitness, etiquette and entrepreneurship.

The program will also address self-image and help young people navigate the pressures of social media, online bullying and the expectations they face every day.

Charm School and Man Camp in the Steel City was created to equip young people with practical resources, positive role models and a safe environment where they can ask questions, build confidence and prepare for their futures. The program also encourages stronger communication between parents and children.

Resource vendors will also be on hand to provide youth and parents will information and materials for educational programming, apprenticeships, counseling, and more

Through honest conversations, engaging workshops and access to trusted community resources, Charm School and Man Camp in the Steel City aims to remind every participant that they are seen, valued and capable of achieving success.
