Jon Tai in Road Signs
Get carried away by the wonder and wanderlust of Road Signs, starring magician and storyteller Jon Tai. Co-created and directed by Alex Gruhin, Road Signs takes audiences on a journey into the great American wilderness, where past and present blur and audience members’ dreams are brought to life around a campfire.
After mesmerizing audiences in Chicago at the MacArthur Award-winning A Red Orchid Theatre, and in Estes Park, Colorado at Aiden Sinclair’s Underground, part of the world-famous Stanley Hotel, Road Signs returns home to Pittsburgh for an encore run this summer with some new (and spectacular) surprises.
A “beguiling and astounding show” — The Chicago Reader
About Jon
Jon Tai is a magician and storyteller whose mission is to foster community between people through shared moments of astonishment. These moments have been felt and experienced across the country at award‑winning theaters (Chicago’s A Red Orchid Theatre, NYC’s 59E59), conference mainstages, and several of his favorite Pittsburgh neighborhood coffee houses.
More than just tricks, Jon’s work explores what it means to be human and confidently embrace the unknown. A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Psychology, he lives in Regent Square and is absolutely delighted to bring Road Signs back to Liberty Magic.
