Giselle
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre opens its 2026–27 season with Giselle, the Romantic ballet of love, betrayal and forgiveness—and a young woman transformed by heartbreak into a spirit. This new staging by artistic director Adam W. McKinney builds on choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot, with later revisions by Marius Petipa. Adolphe Adam’s lyrical score will be performed live by the PBT Orchestra, bringing added dimension to this haunting tale of love that outlasts death.
