Fastball
Fastball is an Austin, Texas, alternative-rock trio formed by Tony Scalzo, Miles Zuniga and Joey Shuffield. The band broke through with its platinum 1998 album, All the Pain Money Can Buy, which produced the signature hit “The Way,” along with “Out of My Head” and “Fire Escape.” Fastball earned two Grammy nominations in 1999, including Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for “The Way.” Known for melodic songwriting, harmony-rich vocals and concise pop-rock arrangements, the group has continued recording and performing across a catalog that includes The Harsh Light of Day, Keep Your Wig On and Step Into Light.
