The Allegheny County Wine & Spirits Festival brings together the best local wineries and distilleries to celebrate the craft beverages of the region. Held at Hartwood Acres Park, home to a spectacular 16th-Century-style Tudor mansion, this is Pittsburgh's premier celebration of local wine and spirits. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or just love a good pour in a gorgeous setting, this annual event is your invitation to discover the very best of the region's craft beverage scene.
The Allegheny County Wine & Spirits Festival takes place on July 18, 2026, at Hartwood Acres Park (200 Hartwood Acres, Pittsburgh, PA 15238). The festival has two sessions to choose from, the afternoon session from 2–5 PM, or the evening session from 5:30–8:30 PM. Both sessions give you three hours to enjoy tastings, live entertainment, and good company.
Please note: the festival is weather-permitting. For the latest updates on event status, follow the Allegheny County Parks Facebook page.
Lock in your spot early and save! Early bird tickets are available from March 23 - May 15, 2026 for $25 per person. After May 15, full-price tickets are $35. Tickets are sold per session, so be sure to select the time that works best for you. Valid proof of age must be provided at the event to enjoy samples.
Bringing along a designated driver or a guest under 21? They're welcome at no cost and don't need to register in advance.
Downtown Pittsburgh is the place to be for wine festival-goers who want it all. You'll find an impressive selection of hotels with top-tier amenities, all within easy reach of the city's best dining, shopping, and entertainment. And when it's time to head to the festival, Hartwood Acres Park is only a 25-minute drive away.
Why just visit for a day when Pittsburgh has a whole weekend's worth of experiences waiting for you? The Wine & Spirits Festival is the perfect excuse to turn your trip into a full-on getaway.
If you're arriving earlier in the week, take advantage of everything Hartwood Acres has to offer beyond the festival itself. Sign up for a guided tour of the stunning Hartwood Acres Mansion, or spend a peaceful afternoon walking the trails and admiring sculptures in the park's beautiful Sculpture Garden.
Can't get enough of the local craft beverage scene? Pittsburgh has plenty more to offer. Head to the Strip District for a guided tour of Wigle Whiskey Distillery, one of the city's most beloved craft spirits producers. Or venture to Lawrenceville to visit The Church Brew Works, a brewpub housed in a historic church and the first (and only!) establishment of its kind in the country.
And when the sun goes down, Pittsburgh's nightlife comes alive with cocktail bars that'll have you talking long after you've headed home.
If you're ready to step away from the tasting table for a bit, Pittsburgh's most popular attractions are right at your fingertips. With world-class museums, the inclines, and outdoor experiences, there's no shortage of ways to spend your time during your visit.
