“It’s A Wonderful Life”, filled with recreation, in Indiana County, PA. Experience outdoor adventures such as hiking or biking 69 miles of rails-to-trails, including the Hoodlebug, Blairsville Riverfront, West Penn, PA’s “2020 Trail of the Year” – the Ghost Town Trail, as well as trails at Yellow Creek State Park. Indiana County offers one of Pennsylvania’s most progressive county park systems, encompassing natural areas and historical sites, such as the 45-foot Buttermilk falls and Tunnelview Historic Site.

Additional outdoor recreation includes off-roading on bike and ATV trails, exploring the unique Ecotour Geo Trail and playing a round of golf! Hit our many waterways and enjoy the calm lake waters at Yellow Creek State Park or take a ride down the Conemaugh or Kiskiminetas rivers. Rentals are available to those in need of a boat, kayak or canoe.

Are you a sports enthusiast? Watch collegiate sports at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and Kovalchick Complex. Participate in sports at White Township Recreation Complex/S&T Bank Arena, home to baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds, disc golf, tennis, basketball courts and ice rink.
