Greene County Historical Society
The Greene County Historical Society Museum in Waynesburg Pennsylvania, housed in the historic Greene County Almshouse, preserves local and regional history as well as the history of the Almshouse itself. Come by for a visit and experience an immersive journey through our 19th century building, accurately furnished rooms and learn about the treatment of the indigent population throughout the 1800’s. We are open from the last weekend in April through the first weekend in October for Public Tours. At other times of the year, we are open by appointment only. Contact us to learn more, and to inquire about our Paranormal Investigations!
