Cultural festivals are a huge hit in Pittsburgh, from celebrating Black brewers at Barrel & Flow Fest to the Celtic dances of the Pittsburgh Irish Festival to the massive parade of Pittsburgh Pride Revolution.
Enter the Pittsburgh Hispanic Heritage Festival, the first city-wide Hispanic festival in the city. Circle Sept. 30, 2023, on your calendar. This sprawling festival with signature events throughout the city is one that's sure to become the next big reason to visit the Burgh.

Hispanic Heritage Community Festival
The fun begins at the Heinz History Center Sept. 30 from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. for the first Hispanic Heritage Community Festival. This family-friendly event will feature activities for all ages and lots of opportunities to engage with the Pittsburgh Hispanic community!
Enjoy live music performances, cultural showcases, community vendors, authentic food and drinks, and much more at this FREE festival. Be sure to register in advance for a free t-shirt upon entry!
Your second stop for the Pittsburgh Hispanic Heritage Festival takes you into the Lawrenceville neighborhood to the Roberto Clemente Museum. From 1-4 p.m. on Sept. 30 they're hosting a 3,000th Hit Open House: Día de Bomba Y Plena. Both floors of the museum, a tribute to the Pittsburgh Pirates legend and Puerto Rican native Roberto Clemente, will be open with displays and exhibits honoring Clemente's life and docents on hand to help tell the story behind each artifact and the connection to his legacy.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Taller Comunidad La Goyco, a Puerto Rican non-profit organization that develops cultural, community and health initiatives in the area where Clemente began his professional baseball journey. End your Pittsburgh Hispanic Heritage Festival celebrations with live music! Latin music sensation Farruko is headlining the festivities with special guests Domino Saints 8 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena. His hit single Pepas went viral in 2021, topping the charts while amassing a billion streams on Spotify (he's currently listed as a top 100 artist in the world).
His Pittsburgh stop is one of only three 3 U.S. tour dates this year, so make sure to cap off your day by seeing this grand celebration of Hispanic music and culture with an unforgettable night of live performances.
