There are lots of cool fairs, festivals and events going on throughout the Pittsburgh region during Autumn that offer plenty of food and seasonal fun. And don't forget to enjoy the brilliant colors on the trees and hillsides during October. Happy Fall!
Through October 28th (Weekends). Trax opens up its farm for pumpkin picking, apple tasting in its orchards, food booths from local bakers and cooks, and a 2.5-acre cornfield maze. Stop by the Cafe for a fresh apple dumpling and a mug of hot apple cider before heading home.
If you're looking for a fall festival mixed with a carnival check out Triple B Farms this fall. Their festival includes standards like a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, cut-your-own sunflowers, and hayrides on the farm, and adds some fun but unexpected activities like the Liberty Tube and Squirrel Hill Tunnel Slides, a haunted barn, and more.
