NFL Draft: Getting Around the Draft Campus
The Draft is spread across the river, but moving between the Downtown and North Shore activations is easy, scenic, and in many cases free!
Welcome to the center of the action! Whether you’re heading to Point State Park or the North Shore, getting between the two main hubs of the 2026 NFL Draft Campus is designed to be a seamless part of your experience. This guide covers the best ways to traverse the "Draft Footprint" and tips to make your Draft experience seamless.
How Do I Get Between the Two Sites?
🚶➡️ The Scenic Route | On Foot
The Roberto Clemente (6th Street) Bridge will be closed to vehicles, serving as a dedicated pedestrian gateway. It’s the most iconic way to soak in the skyline while walking between the stages.
🚃 The Fast Track | The "T" (Light Rail)
Pittsburgh’s light rail offers free service between the Downtown and North Shore. Use the Gateway, Wood Street, Steel Plaza, or First Avenue stations to catch a ride to North Side Station.
Note: Allegheny Station will be closed April 22–25; please use North Side Station instead.
⛴️ The River Connection | The Gateway Clipper Fleet
For a uniquely Pittsburgh arrival, the Gateway Clipper Fleet will run shuttles. Two boats will connect Point State Park to the Acrisure Stadium Quay, while another two will run between Station Square and PNC Park.
Accessibility Services
The 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh is a fully accessible event featuring ADA viewing platforms, ASL interpreters, and mobility assistance at all major sites, including the North Shore and Point State Park.
🧑🦽➡️ Mobility & Navigation
Accessible Entrances: All Draft campus entrances are fully accessible.
- Wheelchair Services: If you require mobility assistance, please visit a Fan Services Booth. Mobility Assistance Teammates are available to provide wheelchairs to fans on a first-come, first-served basis
- Charging Stations: Powered wheelchairs can be charged at any Accessibility/Fan Services Center. Please bring all necessary cords and accessories; chargers must use a 110-volt, 20-amp circuit.
- Terrain Warning: The Draft campus is large and spans city streets, parking lots, and park trails. Please be prepared for long distances and potential mud on natural terrain in the event of rain.
🦻Viewing & Communication Services
- Accessible Platforms: Dedicated viewing platforms for fans using mobility devices (and their companions) are located at the Draft Theater and throughout the Draft Experience.
- Closed Captioning: Caption-enabled video screens are located throughout the venue. Additionally, fans can access a secure website on their mobile devices to view real-time captions.
- ASL Interpretation: A dedicated section with an ASL sign language interpreter is available within the Draft Theater.
🩺 Medical & Dietary Needs
- Medication: Fans may bring medically necessary materials (e.g., insulin, EpiPens) provided the medication has a prescription label matching the fan’s name.
- Medical Waste: For the safety of staff and volunteers, please dispose of syringes and medical waste only at Medical Tents, which are marked on the event site maps.
- Dietary Restrictions: While outside food and drink are prohibited, exceptions are made for fans with medical dietary restrictions. A full list of menu options with special dietary considerations is available at the Fan Services Centers.
🐕🦺 Service Animals
- Permitted Animals: Trained service animals (dogs and, in some cases, miniature horses) are welcome in all public areas of the Draft.
- Prohibited Animals: Emotional support animals and household pets are not permitted inside the Draft venues.
🚻 Restrooms
- Accessible portable toilets are located at the ends of each restroom bank throughout the Draft Experience and at each restroom location for the Draft Theater.
🎧 Sensory-Friendly Spaces
For fans who may need a break from the crowds and noise, dedicated quiet zones and sensory resources are available.
- Sensory Activation Vehicles: Through a partnership with The Silent Count, three Sensory Activation Vehicles (SAV) will be stationed at key locations around the Draft campus to provide a controlled, quiet environment. You can find them at:
- Point State Park
- North Shore
- Market Square
- Sensory Kits: Noise-canceling headphones and fidget tools are also available for checkout at KultureCity volunteer booths for use throughout the draft grounds.

What About Rideshare and Other Flexible Options?
🚗Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)
Designated pick-up and drop-off zones will be set up near the event footprint. Check the NFL OnePass app for the exact locations, as security rules prevent rideshare drivers from stopping directly at the gates.
🚲 Biking
Fans looking for flexible ways to explore the city during Draft week can take advantage of POGOH, Pittsburgh's bike share program that offers both traditional pedal bikes and electric-assist bikes at stations across Downtown, the North Shore, and surrounding neighborhoods. Passes can be purchased and bikes can be unlocked via POGOH.com and the PBSC app.

🚌 Coach Buses and Shuttles
Private charter buses and oversized vehicles can secure parking at PPGpublicparking.com or by calling 412-231-5746. Due to security restrictions, no pick-ups or drop-offs will be permitted near the Draft footprint.
🚤 Personal Watercraft & Private Boats
Personal watercraft and private boats will not be permitted near the Draft footprint during event operations from April 23-26. The following safety zones will be enforced along adjacent rivers, and boaters should avoid these restricted areas:
- Allegheny River: From the Roberto Clemente Bridge to the Point
- Monongahela River: From the Fort Pitt Bridge to the Point
- Ohio River: From the Point to the Rivers Casino
