VisitPITTSBURGH today announced an exciting new partnership with Project 412, Pittsburgh’s only Domestic Elite cycling team, as part of a shared commitment to elevate the city’s presence within the national cycling community and expand Pittsburgh’s profile as a premier destination for cycling events.

PITTSBURGH, PA – VisitPITTSBURGH today announced an exciting new partnership with Project 412, Pittsburgh’s only Domestic Elite cycling team, as part of a shared commitment to elevate the city’s presence within the national cycling community and expand Pittsburgh’s profile as a premier destination for cycling events.
This new collaboration will feature Project 412 proudly carrying the VisitPITTSBURGH brand on their kits at events across the country, providing valuable visibility among cycling fans, athletes and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Through this partnership, both organizations will work together to promote Pittsburgh’s unique assets as a vibrant, bike-friendly city and advocate for bringing additional cycling events, races and tours to the region.

Project 412, founded in 2021, has quickly established itself as a leading team in the Domestic Elite cycling circuit, representing Pittsburgh at national-level competitions. Through this partnership, VisitPITTSBURGH and Project 412 will collaborate on marketing efforts, social media campaigns and promotional events that highlight Pittsburgh’s cycling infrastructure, bike-friendly businesses and must-ride locations.
