A loveable pooch, guest bloggers and 90 painted chairs highlight three winning campaigns recognized by PRSA Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH – Three different campaigns created by the VisitPITTSBURGH Marketing team in 2020 were recognized at the Public Relations Society of America Pittsburgh’s virtual 2021 Renaissance Awards on Jan. 28, including one in cooperation with the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council.
The following campaigns were honored:
“The VisitPITTSBURGH Marketing team is extremely honored to receive these three awards, and we thank PRSA Pittsburgh for recognizing our hard work,” Chief Marketing Officer Tom Loftus said. “The last year has certainly been difficult for so many, especially the tourism and hospitality industries. At VisitPITTSBURGH, it is our responsibility to promote Pittsburgh locally, regionally, nationally and to the world, and we take that responsibility very seriously. I’m proud of the way our team was able to work through challenges and progress toward rebound for our community.
“But, we cannot do this alone, and we also thank Pittsburghers for continuing to support our efforts as well as our partners and friends at the GPAC who helped us fuel the 90 Painted Chairs Program. From the local artists who donated painted chairs for our 90 Painted Chairs Auction, which raised $17,256 for GPAC’s Teaching Artist Initiative, to the bloggers who helped shed light on the city’s hidden gems, to the social media followers who solidified Ace’s claim as the No. 1 source for dog-friendly Pittsburgh experiences – you help us prove every day that Pittsburgh is truly the greatest city in the world.”
