PITTSBURGH – VisitPittsburgh has announced the election of new officers and directors. Doris Carson Williams, president of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania and outgoing VisitPittsburgh chairman, said, "I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I'm extremely proud to have been a part of VisitPittsburgh."

In addition to his position at the International Union of Operating Engineers, Mr. Cagney is a member of the City of Pittsburgh's Green Government Task Force, The Allegheny County Green Action Committee and the UPMC Health Insurance Advisors Board. He also serves on the board of directors at Green Innovations, the Three River's Labor Management Committee and the Community College of Allegheny County.
In addition, four new members joined VisitPittsburgh's board of directors.
David Hammer, a 24-year veteran of the banking industry, is the President of Huntington's Pittsburgh Region. Mr. Hammer serves on the board of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and is a member of the Genesis of Pittsburgh Advisory Committee. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Robert Morris University and a Master's degree from Duquesne University.
Edwin (Eddie) Lozano is President and CEO of Pittsburgh Brewing Company, a company that he and his private equity partners, Uni-World Capital, acquired in April 2011. He also serves on the board of Pittsburgh Brewing. Prior to acquiring Pittsburgh Brewing, Eddie was President of Premier Group, Inc., a corporation he established in 1998 to manage his growing portfolio of personal investments and assets.
Corey O'Connor is one of the newest members of the Pittsburgh City Council. Mr. O'Connor is the son of late Pittsburgh Mayor Bob O'Connor and took over his father's District 5 Council seat. Corey O'Connor, a former Community Development Representative for U.S. Congressman Mike Doyle, is a member of the board for the First Tee of Pittsburgh, the Clean Pittsburgh Commission and Addison Behavioral Health. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Duquesne University.
Eric Werner has had a 25-year career working in business and law. Mr. Werner is an Executive Director within the J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Temple Emanuel of South Hills, the Pittsburgh Middle East Institute's Community Leaders Planning Committee, the Association of Corporate Growth and the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association. Mr. Werner received his Bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law.
