Pittsburgh Pirates

Baseball in the 'Burgh

Raise the Jolly Roger! Let's Go Bucs! These are the cheers that you hear emanating from one of Major League Baseball's best ballparks, PNC Park, for the Pittsburgh Pirates. ABC News, TripAdvisor, and more have touted PNC Park as combining the best features of yesterday's ballparks with a spectacular view of the Downtown skyline.

The 2015 season was one for the record books as the Pirates posted another 98-game winning season AND postseason playoff appearance! Four members of the 2015 Pirates were selected to represent the National League in the All-Star Game, including pitcher A. J. Burnett for the first time in his career. In addition, Andrew McCutchen was named NL Player of the Month in August, Jung-ho Kang was awarded Rookie of the Month in July, and Gerrit Cole one was named NL Pitcher of the Month in April. During the penultimate game of the regular season, the Pirates set a PNC Park season attendance record for the second consecutive year at 2,498,596, beating the record set in 2014 (2,442,564).

Thanks for a great 2015 season, Pirates--The excitement of the 2016 season at PNC Park is just around the corner! Let's Go Bucs!

While you are in town for a game, stop by the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum and experience the great moments of Pittsburgh sports history.
