PGH Commitment

When it comes to health and safety, Pittsburghers and visitors alike deserve a unique commitment tailored to their specific needs.

Pittsburgh Global Health (PGH)
& Safety Commitment

Pittsburgh is open for business, and we look forward to welcoming you as you safely explore our city. That’s why we have created the PGH Commitment, to further demonstrate that your health and safety, as well as our residents’, are our highest priorities. Commitment is not another buzzword. Rather, it is a lifelong pledge.

We have worked with our city’s prestigious medical and health organizations and many partners on our commitment, incorporating state, county, city and CDC health and safety guidelines.

We are honored to welcome you to our city, and collectively we are dedicated to making your next trip a memorable and safe experience.

Our Commitment:

  • The health and safety of our visitors and residents will always remain our top priorities
  • Our health and safety guidelines follow the directives of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Health Departments, as well as the City of Pittsburgh.
  • We will serve as a reputable resource for the Pittsburgh tourism community.
  • We will provide you with the most up-to-date information and guidelines so you can confidently move about Pittsburgh.
  • We always will look out for your best interest. You have our word.

Your Commitment:

  • Monitor your health and only travel when you are not presenting COVID-19 symptoms and/or have not had direct exposure to those that are.
  • Wear a mask when in public spaces to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Respect the posted requirements and health and safety guidelines implemented by individual businesses.
  • Maintain at least six-feet distance from those outside of your travel party.
  • Frequently wash your hands and supplement with hand sanitizer between hand washings.
