Our beautiful city of Pittsburgh awaits, and we plan on showing you in so many ways why the future is here.
Once the Steel City, Pittsburgh is now known for education, medicine, energy, arts and culture, food, sports, and, of course, tourism. But most often these days Pittsburgh is noted for its major technological advances. The transforming robotics and engineering work being done at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh is attracting some of the nation’s brightest young minds. And this has led to major organizations such as Google, Facebook and Amazon to establish satellite offices here. Uber and Argo are testing driverless cars on our streets, and more than 1,100 technology startups now call Pittsburgh home. That’s why PCMA will tap into these cerebral resources to bring risks, new ideas and innovation to Convening Leaders’ content at the January 2019 conference.
The first thing that first-time visitors will notice is our city’s beauty, our three rivers –the reason why we have 446 bridges, and the stunning view as you emerge from the Fort Pitt Tunnel, which caused one New York Times writer to claim “Pittsburgh is the only city with an entrance.”
Visitors also enjoy our only in Pittsburgh attractions such as The Andy Warhol and Mattress Factory museums, National Aviary, 90 neighborhoods, and our two inclines that will transport you up Mt. Washington to view one of the best skylines in the U.S.
We can ensure you that there is unprecedented enthusiasm for this event. And that enthusiasm is growing, as we welcome the opportunity to host you in our beautiful city.
We look forward to welcoming the meetings and convention leaders from around the world to Pittsburgh. See you in January 2019! See you in the future!
