William Watt is a new generation of magician and mentalist with a unique blend of elegance, humor, and quirky and bold charm. His upbringing in France is bookmarked with fantastical memories of magical moments shared with his mother. After completing his studies in communication and marketing at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), a short stint at a startup company in the Paris Business District, and a happenstance crossing of paths with magician, Lionel Martin, William made the decision to ditch the life of a French businessman to become a professional magician.
Trilingual, he presents his shows in French, English, and Spanish. Passionate and perfectionist, it is after many years of ceaseless work that he distinguishes himself by a fluid, refined and elegant style. Soon after starting to perform his art, William Watt realizes the highly privileged connection he is able to develop with his audience and directs his research along a single axis: his creations must be vectors of emotions.
The Hidden Show is a brand new adaptation of a show born out of the pandemic- a conceptual, theatrical and (of course) virtual magic show set in the rich ambiance of a 1920’s speakeasy during the days of prohibition. Originally inspired by the decade we found ourselves in, this live iteration created exclusively for Liberty Magic, will play upon the intimate nature of Pittsburgh’s very own speakeasy magic theater to immerse its audience in a world of secrecy, rebellion, and beguilement. William's suave style fits the era perfectly and his magic will transfix and transport you in time.
