Pogopalooza, The World Championships of Pogo, is returning to the Pittsburgh area for the 5th time on July 20th and 21st 2019. The best extreme pogo stick athletes from across the world are coming to Wilkinsburg to throw down huge tricks and flips several feet in the air and compete for world titles in Big Air, Tech, High Jump and Best Trick, as well as to break several Guinness World Records. For younger pogoers there is a 15 and Under Bounce Off competition that is free to enter, competitors will vie to see who can bounce the longest, with the winner getting a free pogo stick!
The event will also feature a Free Jump Area, where attendees can try pogo sticks of all sizes, whether they are beginners or want to try the sticks the pros use. Steel City Parkour will also be on site to allow participants to try their hand at a parkour course. Additional vendors including food trucks from Southside BBQ and D's Six Pax and Dogz will be present.
The event runs from 1pm to 5pm on both Saturday July 20th and Sunday July 21st. It is free and open to the public. Day 1 will consist of The Tech Freestyle Competition, Big Air Freestyle Qualifiers and High Jump. Day 2 Will feature the Big Air Freestyle Finals, Best Trick and 15 and Under Bounce Off.
