Little Amal is a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year old Syrian refugee girl who stands for unity and hope. This fall, she will journey 6,000 miles across the United States in one of the largest free public festivals ever created. Pittsburgh will welcome Little Amal with events hosted by Pittsburgh Public Theater with August Wilson African American Cultural Center; RealTime Arts; Office for Public Art; and Casey Droege Cultural Productions with Hatch Arts Collective.
