Historic Fairview Park Assoc. Presents its season opener - 1st Annual Madd Hatter Tea Party this coming June 3rd, 2023.
This season opener is our way to welcome YOU to one of the first Black-owned and-run parks in the country! In our heyday, we housed roller coasters, rides, a pool, and a variety of attractions that make up an amusement park. As the years have gone on, the amusement attractions are long gone but the green space still stands strong and true and we need your help to keep that legacy alive!
Each event we present is in support of the park; upkeep of the grounds, maintenance of pavilions, restrooms, and insurance for all to enjoy the park in the Summer & Fall.
The donation you give will go towards our Annual Old Fashion Picnic, mainstay events, and the upkeep and operation of the park. We cannot do this alone, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Join us on June 3rd at noon in the fellowship of tea and company. Enjoy the green space of Historical Fairview Park and imagine your next event on our grounds. Tours will be given, a presentation to thank our 'Plant a Seed' campaign supporters, a 'Tea Cup' auction, prizes, raffles, entertainment, tea and light snacks, and more.
