Pittsburgh celebrated August with the annual EQT Three Rivers Regatta! The free three-day event features an array of entertainment, boating, music, fireworks and family-fun.
The Regatta includes exciting river activities ranging from Formula One Powerboat racing to the USA Jet-Ski Freestyle Championships. Think you have what it takes to build a boat that floats? Enter the Anything That Floats Race and set sail on Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers. This year will also feature F-Lights Powerboat Racing, a smaller version of Formula One boats, and the Pittsburgh Paddlesports Championships.
The Fun Goes Beyond The Water!
Point State Park is the hub for additional entertainment and family-fun. Check out the Sandsational Sand Sculpting, shop at the Regatta Marketplace, have fun at the Kids Zone and travel to the Beach Kids Korner. Get your adrenaline pumping by watching the Red Bull Air Force Skydive team, one of the most elite teams in the world, take landing in various locations. And, you won’t want to miss the magnificent “Regatta Thunder” fireworks display on Saturday night.
Did we mention there’s FREE music? While the headlining act for Saturday night has yet to be announced, you can count on world-class entertainment daily.
This August, come to Point State Park and help honor Pittsburgh's renowned history, vibrant present and exciting future.
