Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Please know that your health and safety remain our top priority.

Updated: April 17, 2020

VisitPITTSBURGH continues to closely monitor reports of the evolving COVID-19 (formerly Novel Coronavirus) outbreak.

National COVID-19 Guidelines

At this time, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has issued a stay-at-home order for several regional counties, including Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland. Individuals, to the extent possible, should stay at home and distance themselves from others. This is in addition to the statewide shutdown, mandating that all non-life-sustaining businesses close physical locations.

In addition to following the Governor’s mandate, we strongly encourage everyone to adhere to the health practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), such as frequent handwashing.

We also recommend keeping up with the most current information on the virus via the CDC website, specifically its dedicated page for travelers, the World Health Organization, the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Allegheny County Health Department.
