Style meets innovation at the Style Awards on Aug 18. This event honors photographers, bloggers, boutiques, hair salons, designers, entrepreneurs, and innovators as winners are chosen in each of these seven categories. This event showcases the strides that Pittsburghers are taking to be the best of the best in their chosen fields. The Style Awards are held in the Alloy 26 theater, which just happens to be one of my favorite venues!
Now it's time for you to get a piece of the action. On Aug 19th the Style Week Pittsburgh Pop-Up Market is your chance to shop the best of Pittsburgh's boutique offerings. The Pop-Up market is free and open to the public, and features clothing, accessories, jewelry, and prizes. You can find it at the hip Ace Hotel in East Liberty, one of the most up and coming neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Following the market is Fashion's Night Out, a celebration of music, art, and fashion in Pittsburgh.
To close out the week, there is an Industry Brunch event at the Frick Museum. Join a diverse group of innovators, influencers and entrepreneurs for an insightful and inspiring discussion about building a culture of innovation, collaboration and inclusiveness across industries regionally; share best practices on achieving success; and learn how to integrate social impact into your brand. During the Style Week Industry Brunch, you'll enjoy the delicious food but you'll also be surrounded with interesting people and great conversation. Meet the movers and shakers, the innovators and entrepreneurs, and the fashionistas that keep Pittsburgh unique and thriving.
