The chaos of the holidays is over and now it’s time to plan a real break - a fun-filled weekend getaway that won't hurt your wallet. That means it's the perfect time to kick off 2017 with a visit to Pittsburgh!
Today, however, we're going to focus on sports. In the next few months Pittsburgh is welcoming a variety of sport-related events, ranging from the National Women's Hockey League All-Star Weekend to Hoop Group's 2017 Pittsburgh Jam Fest. We've got all the information you need to figure out what sporting event you want to attend during your time in Pittsburgh.

The main event for February is the NHL Stadium Series at Heinz Field on the 25th, where the Pittsburgh Penguins will take on cross-state rivals Philadelphia Flyers in the outdoor game with activities happening throughout the days leading up to the event. Tickets are still available - please visit the SportsPITTSBURGH website for more information. Also, make sure to keep an eye out for the #HockeyIsForEveryone initiative!
The month of March brings the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Championships to PPG Paints Arena from Mar 8-12. The 14 conference teams include our own Duquesne Dukes! Tickets are still available so make sure to get them soon!
The month finishes out with Hoop Group 2017 Jam Fest at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown from Apr 28-30! Hoop Group is the worldwide leader in youth basketball instruction with four divisions – ELITE, Skills, Headquarters and Tournaments.
