Pittsburgh Hospitality Workforce Celebration Day

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Mayor William Peduto have officially proclaimed Aug. 24 Hospitality Workforce Celebration Day in Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh!

Pittsburgh is often recognized as a welcoming, friendly destination, thanks in large part to the exceptional service delivered by the region’s hospitality workers. They deliver exceptional service with smiles on their faces. 

Organized by VisitPITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA) Western ChapterPittsburgh Downtown PartnershipGreater Pittsburgh Hotel Association and Partner4Work, this day will honor and celebrate the important work the local hospitality workforce does for the Pittsburgh community while also bringing attention to the expansive job opportunities and career growth available in Allegheny County’s hospitality industry.
