  • Homecoming Weekend

    Nov 26-30

In honor of Pittsburgh's 250th Birthday, local and expatriate 'Yinzers' are invited to celebrate a full weekend of 'Wel-Come Back' festivities.

Join us as Pittsburgh debuts the film My Tale of Two Cities about the journey of a man, and his city, going through a mid-life crisis. Learn how Pittsburgh is re-inventing itself. This humorous and poignant story is directed by Hollywood filmmaker and Pittsburgh native Carl Kurlander. To find out how his hometown of Pittsburgh—which built America with its steel, conquered polio, and invented everything from aluminum to the Big Mac—can reinvent itself for a new age, Kurlander tosses a football with Franco Harris and his son Dok on the North Side, goes shopping in Strip District with Teresa Heinz Kerry, and has breakfast at Ritter’s diner with Paul O’ Neill.
