Scheduled for Aug. 21-24, the four-day competition, which serves as USA Gymnastics’ national championships, will be held at CONSOL Energy Center and tickets will go on sale late this summer. The USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show will be staged at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. |

| 01/10/2013 | 2011 Tourism Spending Up in Allegheny County PITTSBURGH – According to a new report released last month by the Pennsylvania Tourism Office, visitors who traveled to the Pittsburgh region because of conventions, business meetings, or simply for pleasure, created a $5.3 billion influx into the local economy in 2011. The state reports that overall spending by tourists in Allegheny County was up 8.9 percent in 2011 (the most recent year for which the study was conducted) over 2010. |
