Event Details

Family House provides a special "home away from home" for patients and their families who seek treatment of serious or life-threatening illnesses in Pittsburgh. Throughout the year, Family House raises the funds to continue our critical mission through several events, but Family House Polo is by far our largest and most popular event each year. Nearly 2,000 community members, business leaders, and families gather at Hartwood Acres for a fun-filled day of entertainment; from the professional polo match and tailgating to the brunch tent, silent auction and children's activities. The proceeds from the annual POLO event help to make "our houses homes" and support the infrastructure and capital improvement projects to meet the needs of our guests who are often very ill and require specialized air, water and environmental systems.
