For 90 years, 33 acres in Whitehall has been the home of The Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God. The campus is also home to a long and abiding legacy of faith and service. On Thursday, May 31, the Sisters will present History at Twilight: a Walking Tour of the Motherhouse Campus at 6:30 PM. Join the Sisters congregational archivist, Dennis Wodzinski as he guides visitors though 90 years of captivating history while walking the Sisters’ picturesque campus. The event will conclude at the Sisters’ Motherhouse where Sisters will greet guests with hospitality and light refreshments. The event is free and no reservations are needed. Those interested in attending should gather in the former St. Francis Academy Activities Hall parking lot at the corner of Hamilton Rd. and Chesna Drive in Whitehall. It is advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately. The tour will walk through wooded areas on a path. For more information, please call (412) 885-7231.
