55th edition of the Pittsburgh International Folk Festival free of charge. The Folk Festival is where Pittsburgh celebrates the ethnic diversity which makes Pittsburgh such a great place to live. 27 ethnic cultures provide great food and entertainment, as well as cultural traditions and crafts. The location is Monroeville Convention Center The dates are: Friday May 18, 4PM - 10 PM Saturday May19, 11 AM - 10 PM Sunday May 20, 11 AM - 6 PM Service personnel with ID, DD214, or dog tags will be admitted free along with their spouse and dependents any of the 3 days. On Sunday May 20, there will be a special ceremony thanking the military for their service. The 6th regiment USCT Drum Corps from Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall will open the ceremony, and the 911 Air Wing Honor Guard will present the colors.
