Critically acclaimed chef, television host, and author Lidia Bastianich comes to Pittsburghto celebrate the release of her latest book and public television series, Lidia's Italy in America. Get to know Lidia as she cooks up some of her favorite dishes, shares her favorite stories, shows you some of her family photos, and answers your questions.

Lidia's Italy in America celebrates Italian immigrants. From coast to coast, Lidia visits people and places that carry on the Italian-American spirit, paying homage to the role food has played in Italian immigrants' transition to life in America. She finds that it is the memories and experiences the Italian immigrants brought with them-along with the products they found here in America-that grew into the Italian-American cuisine we all know today.

Lidia LIVE! gives audiences a chance to hear Lidia's own Italian-American story, including her inspirational pursuit of her passion for the food that connects her with her first home in Italy. Ultimately, audiences leave the theater understanding that Lidia's Italy in America is truly a tribute to the country that has made it all possible.
