Steve Sciulli, "Pittsburgh's father of electronic music" performs a purely analog, realtime reimagining of Kraftwerk's Autobahn on Saturday May 5 at Howlers Coyote Cafe. Autobahn is one of the seminal inspirations for Steve's entree into electronic music and he will be playing vintage equipment. For the first time in his 35 year career (Carsickness, Ploughman's Lunch, Life In Balance), Steve will perform a cover as well as some of his newer RaisedByMachines songs. If you couldn't make it to the NYC MOMA Kraftwerk Retrospective, you must make it to Bloomfield for this special event. Joining Steve will be special guest Universal Beat Union (Paul Ferraro, Nancy and Eric Steadle) who will also be playing original music as well as interpretations Kraftwerk. Yoctonaut will be opening the show, mixing maximum minimal iPad/iPhone tones into a Kling Klang goodness. $5 cover (Free if you wear your Kraftwerk t-shirt), Ages 21+
