Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra begins its 10th season with a Mother's Day Concert. This prorgram features folk, classical, and world music, compositions by modern composers written specifically for the mandolin family of instruments, as well as spirited Eastern European Klezmer dance tunes. Pittsburgh-based artists slated to perform at this concert are The Jerry Grcevich Tamburitza Orchestra, Riversong String Ensemble, Gary Burdick, vocalist, and Gordon Neidinger, mandolin soloist. The Orchestra is under the direction of Master Folk-Musician Charley Rappaport.
