“The Lady,” from director Luc Bensson, is an inspirational biopic of Myanmar’s (Burma) pro-democracy activist, Aung San Suu Kyi played by Michelle Yeoh in the film. The film follows her triumphs, struggles and the love story with her husband, writer Michael Aris. Actress Michelle Yeoh was nominated for Best Actress at the 2011 Satellite Awards. The film received the International Human Rights Award at the 2012 Cinema for Peace Awards. “The Lady” is in English and Burmese with English subtitles.
