5K - Relay - Half - Marathon - Wheelchair Division - Kids' Marathon Urban Impact, a North Side nonprofit serving kids and families, is a charity partner for the marathon in May, and is actively recruiting runners at this time. Runners choose one of the 6 different marathon events and make a commitment to collect donations to sponsor their runs, all to help Urban Impact change lives on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Urban Impact will pay runners' marathon registration fees out of their committed donations, and everyone who signs up gets the chance to make a free fundraising webpage.
