WIP (Works In Progress) is a choreography project co-founded in 2008 by Kelsey Bartman, Robert Poe, Mary Lohr and Andrea Vierra. The purpose of WIP is to allow young choreographers with a variety of experience to hone their craft in an open and encouraging environment. Choreographers present raw, yet complete works in an intimate setting using either the dancers of Texture or dancers of their choosing. The choreographers presenting this year are: Alexis Bomer, Corey Bourbonniere, Madeline Kendall, Shane Kesneck, Jamie Erin Murphy, Brady Sanders, Henry Steele, Alexandra Tiso, Brynn Vogel. Please join us at the Kelly-Strayhorn's Dance Alloy Studios to celebrate and support local choreographers and dancers in this one-of-a-kind dance performance event! November 5th at 7pm & 9pm. Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 seniors/students/artists. Visit TextureBallet.org for more info. *Dance Alloy is wheelchair accessible.
