In The Making: 250 Years / 250 Artists

In the Making: 250 Years/250 Artists is a visual art exhibition celebrating Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary with cutting edge artwork by 250 Pittsburgh area artists. This monumental salon-style exhibition will be presented at Fe Arts gallery in Lawrenceville. The opening reception will take place on September 12, 2008 and the exhibition will run through January 10, 2009.
Fe gallery (pronounced Effie or FE- the two letters) is named for the symbol of Iron on the periodical table. We chose a name that would have a national presence with direct significance relating to Pittsburgh's historical roots to steel in the iron city. Fe gallery is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Over the past four years Fe gallery has displayed 24 exhibitions, and has received more than 35 local and national reviews.
