SpacePlace will fill the space vertically with full-body Zero-G experiences, full-scale International Space Station module mock-ups, and interactive exhibits relating to the basic sciences and technological advances in space exploration.

Carnegie Mellon’s Center for Africanamerican Urban Studies and the Economy (CAUSE) presents Nico Slate, assistant professor of history at CMU, for a discussion on how South Asians and African Americans learned from each other in ways that not only advanced their respective struggles for freedom, but also helped define what freedom could and should mean. The talk is based on his first book, which was published earlier this year.
