This exhibit features a showcase of more than 60 guitars, ranging from the rare to wildly popular. It includes interactives about the science of sound as well as photography, performance videos, audio, touch screens and the World’s Largest Playable Guitar, certified by Guinness World Records. Plus, live performances by musicians of local, regional, and national note will be scheduled throughout the run of the exhibit.

Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix - Downtown Parade & Car Display

More than 75 Race and show cars thunder through Downtown Pittsburgh on their way to displays at the U.S. Steel Plaza, PPG Plaza and Market Square. There will also be a special all day car display at the Fort Pitt Museum at Point State Park complete with reenactors representing the British soldiers at Fort Pitt, musket demonstrations, free historical walking tours through Point State Park along with free admission to the Fort Pitt Museum and a historic flag display.
