This new permanent exhibition traces the impact of Pittsburgh's innovations and inventors, highlighting the region's top contributions to art, industry, education, sports, technology, science and much more.

Festivities planned including: The Annual African-American Sports Luncheon that will feature Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach, Mike Tomlin as our Keynote Speaker. The Carrie Furnaces, a National Historic Landmark, were the heart and soul of U.S. Steel's Homestead Works. The Carrie Furnaces Hard Hat Tour includes the whole steel-making process, from the Ore Yard where raw materials were stored, to the Cast House, where red hot molten metal spewed from the furnace.
