This exhibit features a showcase of more than 60 guitars, ranging from the rare to wildly popular. It includes interactives about the science of sound as well as photography, performance videos, audio, touch screens and the World’s Largest Playable Guitar, certified by Guinness World Records. Plus, live performances by musicians of local, regional, and national note will be scheduled throughout the run of the exhibit.
Stop by for the Pittsburgh Banjo Club's regular open rehearsal and enjoy their wonderful music for free. Food and Refreshments are available. Founded in 1988, the Pittsburgh Banjo Club is an all-volunteer band and organization that uses banjos, trumpets, tubas and bass to perform popular music from the 1920s and 1930s.
