2012 Memorial Day Parade in Lawrenceville

This year is the 104 year for Lawrenceville's Memorial Day Parade. The 2012 Parade starts at 10am from 40th and Butler Streets and marches along Butler Street into Allegheny Cemetery. Be there to see the antique cars, military vehicles, clowns and marching bands. There is a commemmoration ceremony is St. Mary's Cemetery at 9am. Idlewild Civil War Re-enactor Memorial Day Salute

Join us for our Memorial Day Salute – All active-duty military personnel (and up to 3 immediate family members) will receive free admission. Must show military ID/military family ID. Also, members of the Civil War re-enactor group “Carpenter’s Battery” will set up an authentic Civil War encampment with scheduled demonstrations and battle reenactments throughout the day.
